[EVENT] TheSkinTopic 1st Anniversary + October Promotion

TheSkinTopic is a privately-owned company with New Zealand-made beauty and lifestyle products. There are 4 brands that we can found at TheSkinTopic outlets : Olive & Tebe, Linden Leaves, Wild Ferns, Evolu.

On 26th September 2013, I was invited to theSkintopic's 1st Anniversary Celebration. The awesome celebration is held at theSkintopic, Level 5, Pavilion KL. It’s so crowded here. Everyone is enjoying themselves taking pictures, get to know more about TheSkinTopic products.

I always have chapped lips. So, I put more concern on my lips. At TheSkinTopic, there are several of lip care products. This three lip care products have attracted my attention with their colourful packaging. From left to the right : Wild Ferns Kiwifruit Gentle Protection Lip Care SPF15 , Wild Ferns Manuka Honey Protective SPF15 Lip Care , Tebe Lip Balm. These lip care is kinda oily (for me). 

Here come the must try body oil, the Linden Leaves Aromatherapy Synergy body oil.  Linden Leaves Aromatherapy Synergy body oil available in 4 types. From left to the right:  In Love Again (tamrillo and strawberry), Memories (Rose) , Pick Me Up (Citrus) , Absolute Dreams (Lavender). These natural  body oil are contains REAL FRUITS and REAL FLOWERS. They are enriched with vitamin E and it helps to keep skin soft and nourished. Ideal for daily use after bathing or showering in place of a lotion, especially for dry skin or skin exposed to sun, wind or air conditioning. This oil is also wonderful as an uplifting massage oil or bath oil. Naturally formulated with natural and organic ingredients and without synthetic colour or preservative.

When come to baby, it means that their products are natural and safe for baby usage.  While for Tebe with olive oil extract, products are divided into 3 different categories: For Body, For Face and For Men.  Who say TheSkinTopic only for women? I was so surprise when I realize that I can even buy hand wash at TheSkinTopic. The softening handwash from EVOLU. Always wash hand and get rid from bacteria! The combination of sweet orange, lemongrass and grapefruits.  There are too many kind of hand wash in the market. But THIS hand wash is going to make you scream lie no  tomorrow. My hand didn’t feel dry as compare to others brand hand wash. 

Feel so glad that we able to meet the founder of Linden Leaves, Ms Brigit Blair.  Ms Brigit Blair is doing the demonstration how to make the Aromatherapy Synergy body oil. Choose the fruits and flowers that we want. Cut it into suitable size and put it into the bottle. Pour in the body oil from Linden Leaves. DONE! Ms Brigit Blair is so friendly and she explained all the step slowly so that we able to understand and follow her instructions.

Gently removing dull, lifeless skin, this triple milled, pH balanced blend of ultra-fine olive pips, olive leaf extract, extra virgin olive oil and natural waxes will help to keep your skin moisturised and refreshed. Suitable for all skin type. DO NOT USE IT EVERYDAY!

(DOWN) Tebe Lavish Soap Bar. RM75. The soap that suitable for baby skin. Tebe’s triple milled Lavish Soap Bar with olive leaf extract contains a blend of extra virgin olive oil and natural waxes that will produce a rich, creamy lather. pH balanced and lightly scented, your skin will feel soft, moisturised, cleansed and refreshed. 

These two body soap can be use on body and also face! The most important thing is, the body soap can be use up to 8 months. It dry very fast. Do not worry about the bacteria as the soap will kill the bacteria itself.

Malaysia's Largest Mobile Breast Cancer Campaign

The fight against the Number 1 women killer continues! In conjunction with the much-celebrated worldwide PINK October Month, AVON Malaysia is all geared with its Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer Campaign 2013. 
This year around, the fight continues with a strategic collaboration with LPPKN and MYDIN as The Company For Women set to create a new record in the Malaysia Book of Records for The Largest Mobile Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign. 

The objective of this event is to empower women to improve their breast health while educating the importance of breast screening as part of a healthy lifestyle. 

The campaign also aims to create awareness among women, with emphasis that one third of breast cancers are preventable and that regular screening can save lives. 

Themed "Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer", this fun road tour will be carried out simultaneously via different 6 buses in 6 zones nationwide ; namely the north, central. south, east coast, Sabah and Sarawak. These unique buses are equipped with private rooms specially designed for clinical breast checks, educational corner and registration counter for mammogram subsidy.  

Scheduled from 5th to 30th October 2013, these KGBC buses are slated to stop over at 48 locations nationwide from 10am-5pm each weekend. Locations are selected for their hot spot awareness and reach out potentials, with main locations being at Mydin Malls where the public is easily accessed. 

To encourage participation, Avon will be giving away attractive goodies to the first 100 participants who get on board the bus for their breast screening. Also, 50 participants with pink outfits will win Best Dressed prizes. The public can also look forward to various exciting programs like charity makeover, pink bazaar charity sales, lucky draws and free bra fitting education, among others.

[REVIEW] : ESSE Cream Cleanser

Esse is a brand that based in Africa and formulate using Africa's incredible plant diversity. I get to know this product through a charity event. Esse have a wide range of products. What attract me a lot is the products packaging. Their packaging is different with others product in the market. 

I always pay extra special attention when it comes to cleanser. I have a very troublesome skin problem, sensitive skin + acne skin. It's very difficult to find a cleanser that suit my skin. I need a cleanser that can clean my skin and moisture my skin at the same time, and of course no irritation and no itchiness. 

Esse Cream Cleanser is not in cream form. A yellowish orange gel cleanser. The scent of this cleanser is kinda weird. It doesn't smell like a herbal or any fruit. I hate the smell as it sting the nose. *it's hard to explain the smell..LOL* The scent stay for  a long time. I need to apply a lot of moisturizer to cover the weird scent. It's suitable for dryness and sensitive skin.

This picture is taken right after i wake up. Very oily skin. As you can see my face is very shiny. 

Oil all over my T-zone , cheek and even my eyelid. This is how my face look whenever i wake up. Been facing this problem since 10 years ago :(

Squeeze small amount of cleanser into palms, gently apply the cleanser on face using circular motion. Massage face for about one minute.  This cleanser  do not have much foam or bubbles as compared to others cleanser.

This is how my face look like after cleansing. No more excessive oil on my skin. My skin did not feel tight after using this cleanser. So, i consider that this cleanser is quite gentle for me skin. 

Overall, this cleanser did helps to clean the oil on my skin without any irritation and itchiness, The only thing i hope to be improve is the scent of the cleanser. 99% of the total ingredient are from natural origin. For those who like products which are make from natural ingredient , you should try this out!
