New Napping Concept :Nap Pod in KL

Friday

*yawn*
"I'm so tired! I need to take a nap......"

Everyone needs a nap to increase their alertness and boost creativity. Taking a nap is good for us , if only we do it or "sleep" it on a proper way. Some older people always think that napping is  only for babies and kids, yet it's an important part as well as yours!

I'm so Sleepy is a place where they provide a very comfy place for those who need to take a nap. If you're parents who tired of taking care of kids, feeling exhausted after working for long hours, or maybe you're driving for long distance and feeling sleepy at the half way journey, you should visit here!

I'm so Sleepy provided 14 "rooms". Each room only available for 1 person. So for those couple who looking for places for romantic purpose, very sorry, this is not the place you should come over. They also provide washroom ( towels are available but you need to pay for that ), and unlimited brown rice tea! This brown rice tea is good for our health, so please stop drinking Coka-Cola, drink this!

Of course this is not the first time I heard about nap pod BUT, this is the first time I step into a nap pod providing center and I just can't believe I SLEPT for almost ONE HOUR. By the time I wake up from my sleep, I was SHOCKED. I though I will never fall as sleep at any places except from my own room. This place is so comfortable, I feel so relax. This little place is only for 1 person. Lying on a bed in a small space like this actually make me feel so calm. Closed my eyes, listening to my own breath and I just fall as sleep without I realized about that!

Environment is very important. I can't sleep in a place which is dirty and smelly. They have air purifier! They make sure the air that we breath in is clean. The most important thing is, they change the pillow and mattress after every customer. They are maintaining a very high standards of hygiene.

How long should one take a nap?

Sleep experts recommend taking a 10-20 minute nap for a quick refresh. This is called a power nap and it gives you a quick boost of alertness and energy. However, depending on what you want out of your nap, you may need to take longer naps.

If you are looking for a full blown sleep cycle then a 90 minute nap is ideal. Having a 90 minute nap enhances your creativity and gives your brain a chance to process emotions, process data and activate memories.

I'm so Sleepy is currently doing a campaign! The purpose of this campaign is to encourage people DO NOT DRIVE IF YOU'RE SLEEPY or TIRED. Take a 30 minutes nap for only RM2!

  10. I've not heard of such a concept before but have often thought how good it would be if there is something like this. And now there is! Awesome!!

  11. I'm very sensitive to sound and light so when I sleep it has to be very dark and quiet. I do find it hard to sleep in cars and planes and always envy those people who can sleep anywhere.
